Our smash rooms are a little different than others. We feature exclusively glass and ceramic items that will be 100% recycled. Customers can also bring their own glass or ceramic items, subject to approval. There is a 25 cent per item cleanup fee, and protective gear rental is required. Closed-toed shoes are required and protective gear is included in certain packages or can be rented for $5 per person. Limit one person inside each cage at a time. Anyone entering the cage must sign a liability release. For those concerned with sharing protective gear, we do have brand new gear available for purchase. F.A.Q.s: Can I bring my old TV or windows? No. Sorry. Tube TVs have lots of wires (non-glass) in addition to radioactive elements and coatings that we cannot recycle with our other glass. Windows and glass shelves, besides their awkward size, are often made with tempered glass. While this makes the glass stronger, it is somewhat explosive when it breaks. That higher velocity can scratch our face shields and other protective gear, wearing them out much faster than we want them to. What about mirrors and light bulbs? No. Again, sorry. These items have coatings that are not allowed in our recycle mixture.
