There has been a pandemic outbreak of Apocu-enza, a horrible virus that spreads quickly and is always fatal. Luckily, you have been symptom-free so far and you also happen to work in the lab where a brilliant scientist created the only known cure for Apocu-enza. However, being a rather paranoid individual, the scientist protected the formula in her lab with layers of codes, puzzles, and safe fails. Now she has fallen victim to the deadly virus and left the antidote in her lab. You and your fellow survivors have 60 minutes to acquire the antidote before the virus infects you. Can you make it out of Quarantine alive? This is our challenge room. We have two of this exact room so you can compete head to head with another group. When you make your reservation, be sure to add both Quarantine A & B into your cart at the exact same time. This will reserve both rooms at the same time, as long as each of them are available. If one is not available at the time you’ve chosen, simply choose a time where they are both available! You can still try out this room without racing another, just book either Quarantine A or B by itself. This is a combination of a N.E.R.D (New Escape Room Designs) designed game (with parts of it that could be located in different areas) an in house designed game by the owners, Marisa and Skylar, of Expedition Escape!

If one is not available at the time you've chosen, simply choose a time where they are both available! You can still try out this room without racing another, just book either Quarantine A or B by itself. Duration 1 hour Check-In Information Please arrive promptly at your reservation time. These are live-action events, you must arrive on time in order to participate. We must go over about 15 minutes of safety rules before starting. Rooms start 15 minutes after your reservation. If you arrive after your start time, you will not be allowed to participate and there are no refunds or exchanges. Every adult in the group must sign a waiver. To make things go faster, feel free to sign the waiver before coming. Be sure you're choosing the correct, room, date, and time or you won't be in the same group as the rest of your adventurers! Difficulty Advanced Skills: Teamwork, Multitasking, Analytical Thinking Recommended Number of Players: 6-8 (up to 10 players per room allowed) This is one of our harder rooms and we suggest that if this is your first escape room experience, that you choose another room. However, if you are up to the challenge you are more than welcome to try. Good luck! This room is not for a group of kids. All of our rooms are designed with adults in mind (except for our children's room, Lost Teddy). Rates People: $27 per person per room (plus fees) We are the only escape room in the area that is only private reservations. This means you'll never be with any strangers or people you don't know. Other companies are public reservations so if a room can hold up to 10 people and you reserve 4 spots for example, the remaining 6 spots will stay open online for other players to reserve. Since we are only private rooms, there must be a minimum of 4 players or $108 ($27 per person plus fees). If you have less than that, it's okay, you can still play you just have to reserve the private room for $108. You can then add additional people for $27 each. Additional people must be paid for. Please contact us to add additional people. We do not recommend more than 10 in our 60 minute, adult rooms. Age Requirement We require that any players under 18 be accompanied by at least one paying adult (18 years of age or older per game room that counts as a player). An adult (18 years of age or older) must be in the room for insurance and liability purposes. No exceptions. Our escape rooms are designed for adults. We like to say we are family friendly, rather than kid friendly. Meaning, when you have a mix of children and adults in the room, it can be extremely helpful as the kids become searchers (they find hidden things adults don’t always see) while the adults are able to solve the more complex puzzles. However, when there’s an entire group of children in the room, not many puzzles get solved as they don’t tend to have the attention span or they are too busy socializing to stay focused on the task at hand. We suggest leaving very young children at home or with a sitter as this environment is not designed or catered for them and their safety. However, children aged 3 and under do not have to be paid for when a private room is reserved. Safety Disclaimer Expedition Escape, and owners, Marisa, Skylar, and Lola, care about our players and their safety. In light of the tragic incident that happened in Poland, we felt the need to make sure that you know you are always safe, never locked in, and can exit the room at any time you wish. You are never actually locked into any of our escape rooms. The doors are held with strong, magnetic locks which would release automatically if the power went out. You can exit the game at any time or in the case of an emergency by simply pressing the green "Push to Exit" button located by the entrance door in each room (don't worry, we'll point it out when you get inside). In the state of Pennsylvania, the PA Department of Agriculture (PDA) oversees any and all amusement rides and attractions (which includes escape rooms). Every day that we are in operation, a daily inspection is performed that is recorded and kept for our records. Twice a year, an inspector from the PDA comes out to ensure everything is up to code. Some of the laws escape rooms must follow include (but are not limited to): escape room doors must have a one motion exit (like a push to exit button where the door swings open) or cannot be locked at all sprinklers in every room that must be placed correctly for full coverage an emergency exit plan must be posted within each escape room detailing a route to exit the building emergency exit lighting above the door entrance door inside the escape room (these lights must activate in an emergency and must have a manual override) fire extinguishers placed every 75 feet all fabrics must be fire resistant or sprayed with fire retardant all paints must be fire resistant or a fire retardant must be added before application all staff and employees must undergo yearly emergency/fire safety training For more information, please check out the PA Department of Agriculture's website: https://www.agriculture.pa.gov/. Our rooms can involve flashing lights, lasers, fog, crawling, and moving assemblies that can be very surprising for some. Please take these into consideration for those who have a pace-maker, severe heart conditions, epilepsy, claustrophobia, are pregnant, or have a physical disability that may not allow you to have the full experience. We take the safety of our players very seriously. Expedition Escape and staff reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.

Description You and your cousins have inherited your estranged grandfather’s candy shop, which was known for its unique chocolate. Being a rather distrustful old man, Grandpa refused to share his recipe with anyone. When he fell ill, he hid pieces of his recipe throughout the candy shop for his heirs to find so that they could continue his legacy. Unfortunately, Grandpa had not yet finished paying off the mortgage on the candy shop. So, there is still quite a bit of money owned on the property and the bank is running out of patience. If you find the recipe, you can continue Grandpa’s business and use the profit to pay back the rest of the mortgage. If you do not, the bank will repossess the candy shop and Grandpa’s perfect chocolate recipe will be lost forever!

Description Oh no! You found out Santa has added your name to his Naughty List. You need to get your hands on that list before it's too late. You've made your way to the North Pole and snuck into Santa's workshop while the elves are on their daily cookies and milk break. You have 60 minutes to find the list and escape before the elves come back. Difficulty Challenging/Beginner Skills: Teamwork, Observation Skills, Great First Room Recommended Number of Players: 6-8 (up to 10 players allowed) This room is wonderful for families, younger children, and those that have never attempted an escape room before. If you have never done an escape room before, we suggest starting here.
